WU LYF

World Unite! Lucifer Youth Foundation, short: WU LYF, from Manchester exist since 2008. After a huge hype this year WU LYF finds recognition in the music scene. The husky voice of singer Ellery Roberts won't go out of your mind and you'll be moved of the strength of their music. The band of four released their first album "Go Tell Fire To The Mountain" on 13th June 2011 which they produced on their own.

The HipHop is back. This summer 2011 Ishmael Butler and Tendai Mararie, aka Shabazz Palaces, released their debut album called "Black Up". Although they sound like from the late 80s or the 90s, Shabazz Palaces have an influence of African music and at the same time they work with deep bass. Together Butler and Mararie create an unique sound of HipHop.

oOoOO - coming from San Francisco - is a project created by Christopher Dexter Greenspan. The band Salem called their sound "Drag". In January of 2010 Greenspan released his debut which was limited to 100 copies, each with a different artwork made by himself. With his witch house music oOoOO ("Oh") is attracting attention since 2010.

Zomby

The dubstep producer Zomby started releasing music 2007. "Where Were You In '92?" was his first full lenght album, inspired by the rave scene of the early 1990s, which he released 2008. Zombys third album Dedication was released on July 2011, where he also worked with e.g Panda Bear.

SBTRKT

Aaron Jerome, better known as SBTRKT (sʌb.ˈtrakt) is a DJ from London. He has remixed songs from Modeselektor, MIA and many other artists. August this year he was at the MS Dockville Festival to play his debut album "SBTRKT" which was released 2011. His next concert in Germany is at the 1st December in Berlin.

Halls

Samuel Howard, known as Halls is a new young musician from London who makes experimental post-dupstep and minimalist music. The Halls EP was released January 2011 with six unique tracks. August 2011 Halls released together with Sun Glitters the first album named Swan / There. They discribe Halls as "the most exciting artist around". Besides Baths, Star Slinger and Forest Sword he made a remix of Gold Panda's "Marriage".
